Garrett, who was travelling with one passenger, was involved in a crash around 3 p.m. local time near the 5600 block of State Road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol told NFL.com. According to a statement from his agent, Nicole Lynn, Garrett has been “alert and responsive” at the hospital as they await word on the extent of any injuries sustained.

“Myles Garrett was engaged with a one-fender bender this evening and was shipped to a neighborhood medical clinic to be assessed,” Lynn’s assertion read. “While we are holding back to gain proficiency with the degree of his wounds, he has been ready and responsive. The Garrett family might want to thank the clinical faculty that got Myles and his traveler out of the vehicle and securely shipped to the clinic.”
