‘SPECIAL MOMENT’ Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin cycles to Windsor Castle to pay respects to The Queen
GOOD Morning Britain presenter Laura Tobin has cycled to Windsor Castle to pay her respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The weather conditions have, 40, a normal element on the ITV daytime show, looked summery in a green-designed dress as she jumped on her bicycle for the outing.
Meteorologist Laura flashed a huge smile as she pedaled in the sunshine, with her brunette locks flowing over her hair.
She was making the outing to the Imperial home after Her Highness kicked the bucket calmly at 96 years old on September 8, with her family close by.
In her caption, the Good Morning Britain stalwart wrote: “Cycling to Windsor to lay flowers and pay our respects to the Queen.”
Her second image captured the crowds waiting outside Windsor Castle while alongside the third slide, she wrote: “Flowers left every day are collected and laid on the lead-up to Windsor Castle from the Long Walk.
“Such a beautiful display for when the Queen’s coffin arrives on Monday – her final resting place.”
After sharing a shot of the carpet of flowers laid outside, she added: “A sea of beautiful color, it also smells beautiful.”
She then took a selfie before the wraps of flower bundles as she stated: “A wonderful environment in the daylight at Windsor Palace.
“A special moment paying our respects and saying thanks to the Queen.”
Back on screen, GMB fans were left stunned when the show aired for the first time on a Saturday to commemorate the life of Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
Meanwhile, they were equally baffled when Laura appeared to be ‘replaced’ on the weather wall by an EastEnders star amid a show shake-up.
Popular presenter Des Coleman is familiar to EastEnders fans for playing Lenny Wallace from 1996 to 1999.
The character appeared alongside pal Huw Edwards in Albert Square’s short-lived ‘squat’ where they tormented Ian Beale.
Des proceeded to show up in Loss, The Bill, and, surprisingly, showed up in the West End prior to moving into weather conditions introducing.
Laura’s spot was filled after she headed off on her summer holidays – but fans were left devastated.
